About the HSE Officer Role

An HSE Officer is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe working environment on offshore facilities by ensuring full compliance with occupational health, environmental protection, and workplace safety regulations. The role focuses on preventing accidents, reducing operational risks, and promoting a strong safety culture throughout the project.

The selected candidate will work closely with supervisors, engineers, and project teams to ensure all offshore activities are performed according to company procedures and internationally recognized safety standards.


Primary Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for implementing and maintaining comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management Systems across offshore operations.

Key duties include:

  • Conduct routine workplace safety inspections and offshore site audits.
  • Monitor daily work activities to ensure compliance with company HSE policies.
  • Identify unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.
  • Perform risk assessments, hazard identification, and incident prevention activities.
  • Deliver daily Toolbox Talks, safety briefings, and HSE awareness programs.
  • Prepare and maintain HSE reports, inspection records, and compliance documentation.
  • Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and safety observations.
  • Support emergency response planning and offshore evacuation procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with offshore environmental protection regulations.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture among all project personnel.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of offshore HSE experience.
  • Proven experience in offshore oil & gas projects.
