Crane Operator Job Description
A Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating mobile cranes to lift, move, position, and place heavy equipment and construction materials. The role is essential on major industrial, refinery, petrochemical, and infrastructure projects where precision lifting and strict safety compliance are critical.
Successful operators help ensure that lifting operations are completed efficiently while protecting personnel, equipment, and project assets.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates will typically be responsible for:
- Operating mobile cranes according to approved lifting plans.
- Conducting daily pre-operation inspections of crane equipment.
- Reading and understanding load charts and lifting capacities.
- Coordinating lifting activities with riggers, signalmen, and lifting supervisors.
- Positioning heavy equipment and materials safely and accurately.
- Monitoring crane stability and operating conditions.
- Reporting mechanical defects or maintenance requirements.
- Following Saudi Aramco lifting procedures and project HSE regulations.

Candidate Requirements

- Valid Aramco Crane Operator Certification (Mandatory).
