Job Overview – Safety Officer Riyadh
The Safety Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe workplace by implementing occupational health and safety procedures, identifying potential risks, and ensuring compliance with company and project safety standards.
The role requires close coordination with engineers, supervisors, and workers to improve safety performance and prevent workplace incidents.
Safety Officer Responsibilities
Selected candidates will perform the following duties:
- Conduct daily site safety inspections
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Conduct toolbox meetings and safety awareness sessions
- Monitor compliance with HSE policies and procedures
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses
- Prepare safety reports and documentation
- Maintain HSE records and inspection reports
- Support emergency response and safety improvement plans
- Coordinate with project teams to maintain safe working conditions
Required Skills and Experience
Applicants should have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer
- Experience in MEP and maintenance projects
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and site inspections
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work with site management teams
